This year, Gamemir celebrated the anniversary – he turned 10 years old. Now that the largest Russian game exhibition has ended, the organizers decided to take stock and boasted the achievements of the event. I must admit, some numbers and facts really look impressive.
So, this year, Igomir took place in Moscow Crocus Expo from October 1 to 4 paired with Comic Con Russia. More than two hundred companies arrived there, which were located on 140 stands and trading places. The total area amounted to 25,000 square meters, and visitors had as many as 162,000 people! The events of both exhibitions covered 1,800 representatives of the press.
In addition, this time, not only beautiful harsh girls, but also the real stars: Tricia Helfer (Tricia Helfer), voicing Suzi in the Comic Con Russia, joined Mass Effect, Alfie Owen-allen, who plays the role of Theon Grajoy in "Game of Thrones", Summer GLAU from the series "Firefly" and Anthony Daniels, whom you know as C-3PO of all seven episodes "Star Wars". I was on Gamera, comedian and ubidays and I can safely say that Igomir liked the least. Games that could be played, either have already been released, or everyone was or will be in CBT. The presentations showed old demos with E3, so you could not stand in lines. At the comedian there was a steep cosplay and stands with a souvenir. And the event of the anniversary is generally out of competition. Everything was cool there.
I confirm, Gamirmir was rotten this year, there were almost no freebies, a miserable VIP set (the most miserable for the whole IG). Honestly, I waited, I thought it would be cool, because "Still 10 years of IG". If not KK, then there is simply nothing to do there.
